Environmental Audit Department:

Environmental Audit Department aims to comply with the environmental conditions and standards and to find appropriate procedures to reduce pollution sources and increase environmental awareness in the institution to maintain the environment safety.

Technical Office:

Technical office aims to prepare studies on topics that required to be presented to General Manager for his directions.

Quality Assurance Office:

Follow-up performance evaluation and quality assurance in accordance with PAI’s future goals.

General manager's office:

It aims to provide all office facilities that help the General Manager of PAI to carry out his responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

1. Secretarial Section:

It aims to provide all office facilities that help the General Manager of PAI in carrying out his responsibilities.

2. Councils Affairs Section:

It aims to receive and follow up on what is received from Council of Ministers, National Assembly and Municipal Council, in addition to preparing for PAI Board of Directors meetings.

3. Follow-up Section:

It aims to coordinate with the concerned authorities regarding meetings that prepared by General manager or in which he participate, implementation of administrative decisions and general manager directions in a manner that ensures proper work performance.

Public Relations and Media Department:

It aims to introduce mission, goals, and tasks of PAI, strengthen relationship with the community by providing PAI tasks and news to the media.

1. Public Relations Section:

It aims to introduce mission, objectives and tasks of PAI, strengthen its relations with the community, and to do everything that would leave a good impact or impression on employees and other people dealing with Public Authority for Industry.

2. Media Section:

It aims to provide media with news and tasks of PAI and to communicate with other related authorities through conferences and media meetings.

Department of Legal Affairs:

It aims to put all activities carried out by PAI into the correct legal framework, guarantee PAI rights toward third parties and simplify the legal requirements of transactions with investors.

1. Contracts and Tenders Section:

It aims to ensure the proper application of the requirements and legal bases in all the contracts and tenders conducted by the Authority.

2. Cases and Investigations Section:

It aims to follow up the cases and claims filed by the authority or against it, and to conduct the investigations entrusted to the management in accordance with the lists of powers and authorities.

3. Fatwa and Opinion Department:

It aims to provide legal opinion and advice to senior management and PAI’s sectors on issues of a legal nature that are referred to the management.

Industrial Planning Department:

It aims to propose a strategy and directives for industry in Kuwait, prepare studies that help setting industry plans, work on linking Kuwaiti industrial investment with foreign investment, attract specialized expertise to develop the industry, and coordinate the authority's relationship with specialized international and regional organizations.

1. Industrial Planning Section:

It aims to propose industrial strategy in the country considering the national economy development direction and to propose plans and policies to ensure their implementation.

2. Industrial Research Section:

It aims to prepare studies related to industrial activity in the country, ways to support it to help formulate and develop industrial strategies and industrial plans and provide the scientific bases for its success.

3. Investment motivation Section:

It aims to introduce industrial investment opportunities to investors at locally and abroad, to link the Kuwaiti industry with global investment fields, and to attract foreign industrialists, technology suppliers, investors and financiers of industrial investment in Kuwait.

4. International Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Department:

It aims to plan and coordinate international cooperation fields where PAI is part off and to follow up its relationship with relevant regional and international organizations.

Internal Audit and Performance Evaluation Department:

It aims to ensure the proper implementation of the decisions, systems and regulations enforced in PAI as well as the development of performance indicators and measures of overall various work units.

1. Internal Audit Section:

It aims to ensure the application of rules and regulations of organizing PAI’s activities in technical, financial and administrative fields.

2. Performance Evaluation Section:

It aims to analyze and evaluate PAI’s overall performance indicators in the light of established policies and plans, measure its internal and external efficiency, and suggest ways to develop it.

Information and Decision Support Center:

It aims to support PAI’s decisions to achieve its accuracy, effectiveness, and economic, and to provide better capabilities for understanding and analyzing problems in light of continuous development of databases and information, as well as evaluating the PAI’s overall performance.

1. Operation and Technical Support Section:

It aims to ensure the effectiveness of computers and automated systems used in PAI and to provide technical support services for the operation.

2. Systems Development Section:

It aims to develop automated systems, direct its operations to service, and rationalize goals and PAI’s top decisions.

3. Information and Statistics Section:

It aims to provide information sources related to PAI’s activities , and to publish information and statistics bulletins that help in the decision-making process at all levels.

4. Decision Support Section:

It aims to support senior management and decision makers in PAI, and provide alternatives and appropriate solutions for all matters.
