Industrial Development and Licensing Sector Web Content
Integrated Service Center :-
It aims to simplify industrial licensing procedures for investors, verify the standards used in granting licenses and industrial registration certificates, collect and analyze their data through a single point of contact and contacting one office.
1. Reception and Follow-up Section:
It aims to receive transactions owners and industrial service seekers, provide them with facilities, guide them to the requirements of obtaining the service, and follow up the completion of their transactions within the specified dates.
2. Customer Service Section:
It aims to provide the required services to customers and facilitate the completion of their tasks and obtain them on time.
3. Licenses and Industrial Registry Section:
It aims to apply the standards of granting, renewing industrial and craft licenses, follow up on their implementation, organize the registration process in industrial register, provide related services according to simplified procedures, in a way that facilitates obtaining these services for the investors.
4. Feasibility Assessment Section:
It aims to study the submitted industrial requests and evaluate the economic, technical, environmental and social feasibility of industrial projects to ensure their business continuity and success.
Projects Department :-
It aims to plan and implement construction projects in the industrial areas, in addition to supervising the developed projects and infrastructure projects entrusts to contractors according to the prescribed plans, specifications and conditions.
1. Project Planning Section:
It aims to prepare project studies, documents, service plans and basic facilities for industrial zones, review construction and architectural plans and approve them to obtain licenses and approvals in coordination with the relevant state authorities.
2. Projects Implementation Section:
It aims to supervise the infrastructure projects that PAI entrusts to implement to contractors in accordance with the prescribed plans, specifications and conditions.
3. Developed Areas Operation Section:
It aims to operate the developed areas, supervise, management and operation of projects belonging to PAI, whether implemented directly or in cooperation with private sector.
Industrial Plots Department :-
It aims to provide engineering services to all industrial projects located in the industrial zones, and follow up these projects in an integrated framework, which helps to implement and direct these projects according to the approved plans.
1. Engineering Services Section:
It aims to prepare basic service and utilities plans for industrial and craft areas, review construction and architectural plans, as well as plans for internal service networks for new industrial projects, as well as expansions of existing industries, for the purpose of granting and renewing the necessary building permits from the concerned authorities.
2. Industrial Plots Follow-up Section:
It aims to ensure the implementation of industrial projects licensed by PAI in its industrial zones and related follow-up as planned and in accordance with the objectives.
Industrial Development and Support Department :-
It aims to serve industrial investors by assisting them in studying the local and foreign markets and providing ways of support for industrial and craft establishments.
1. Anti-dumping Section:
It aims to study illegal commercial practices such as dumping, unjustified increase of imports, prohibited subsidies, verify their occurrence and consequence damages on the local industry, and recommend all necessary measures to combat and limit them.
2. Industrial Support Section:
It aims to study ways of supporting industrial projects, propose what is necessary to be adopted in order to revitalize the Kuwaiti industry and motivate investors to develop their projects.
3. Small and craft industries development Section:
It aims to provide ways to develop the contribution of these industries to the industrial output of the country and to encourage citizens to establish their own projects to reduce their orientation towards government work and develop their savings and small investments.
